Jonathan practices primarily intellectual property litigation, including patent, trade-mark, and copyright disputes, and with a main focus on pharmaceutical litigation.

Jonathan graduated from Queen's University (B.Sc.Hons. Biochem.) and received his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario with a specialization in Information and Intellectual Property ("IP") law. He articled at Sim, Hughes, Ashton & McKay LLP before being called to the Bar of Ontario. Prior to joining Hazzard and Hore, he worked at a boutique commercial litigation firm on Bay street in Toronto.

Jonathan is a registered Canadian trade-mark agent and received the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada Educational Foundation Prize for the highest mark on the 2004 Canadian Trade-mark Agent Exam. He has received published credit, and an award in one case, for his work on articles in diverse subject areas including information law, intellectual property, and franchising.
