Ed Hore was called to the Ontario bar in 1986. He practices civil litigation, primarily
in the area of intellectual property, with particular emphasis on pharmaceuticals, and is a
registered lobbyist before both the federal government and the government of Ontario.
He has appeared before committees of both the House of Commons and the Senate on behalf of generic drug
manufacturers, and has appeared in all levels of courts on patent, trade-mark, regulatory, commercial and
libel cases, including the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of
Canada. He writes and speaks frequently on drug patents.
